TRADITION® Upright Vacuum SC888N

I donated mine to a worthy cause, and I am sorry I donated it to a recovery program.
Had it for 40 year's and it was always easy to fix. Bought a Bissell, now I have to get it out of storage to see if it still works. The DIRT DEVIL we got in 2019, and have used 10 times died today. I so miss my Sanitare Vacuum. Someone through it out. Simple that it needed a new belt. My mom preferred it over that expensive $1000 Vacuum that was suppose to do everything and was way overpriced.
The SANITARE IS THE MACHINE TO GET.

Purchased for cleaning large church. My wife loves it.

Very satisfied with the machine

I have been around Sanitaire Vacuums since i was a little boy!! Growing up my mother worked for a janitorial company and would would always bring one home to vacuum. I was 5 and my mom already had me vacuuming the house!! Every time i see these machines it brings me joy!! The machines if you take care of them will last forever!! I feel that Bissell did drastically update the material used for the base! Back when the previous company didn't care too much for the quality of the base's. Bissell really did improve them from that part!!

I recently purchased a new Sanitaire Upright Vacuum and was quite surprised and disappointed to find that this new vacuum has at least 5-fold lower suction power than my previous Sanitaire Vacuum purchased in 2003. It is quite disheartening to see the quality and performance of the Sanitaire Vacuum become much worse in time!
